Adams White Oliver Short and Forbus

Blake is originally from Dothan, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree in political science, cum laude, from Auburn University, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, Blake received two Scholar of Merit Awards and served as Research Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Blake served as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Gorman Houston, Jr., Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.

 He joined the firm in 2004, becoming a partner in 2008. Blake concentrates his practice in the ares of litigation, primarily defense litigation. He also assists with writing the firm's motions and appeals, and represents numerous banks and other corporations in a wide array of transactions, including commercial lending, real estate transactions, and commercial and residential leasing.

Blake and his wife Beth have two children, Davis and Luke. Outside of the office Blake enjoys traveling and fishing.
